The 37th Annual Cultural Arts Festival will take place Saturday, September 15. This year's theme is "A festival of traditions. Una fiesta de tradiciones." This year, as in previous years, the traditional events of the day will include:
-Descendants' Ceremony, Mission San Jose, 8:30 a.m.
-Parade, from Mission San Jose to Harlandale Memorial Stadium, 9:30 a.m.
-Fair, Harlandale Memorial Stadium, 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
We expect about 1,000 participants and 5,000 spectators and would like to invite you, the community, organizations, clubs and businesses to be part of the fun. The Descendants' Ceremony takes place in front of the Rose Window at Mission San Jose. It is open to the public. You could also walk or ride in the parade, have an exhibit at the fair or both.
